It is a matter of great pride for the Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar that Shreya Sharma  student of B.Com.  during session 2021-2024 has successfully cleared the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), New Delhi in May 2026. The Principal, Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu extended his heartfelt congratulations on this remarkable achievement and said that this achievement is a source of immense pride for our institution. The Alumni Association of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, proudly honored one of its distinguished alumni, Mr. Kuldeep Singh Purewal, a 1990 pass-out (M.A. Punjabi), for his remarkable achievements and contribution to Punjabi music on the international stage.   The Annual Alumni Meet of Lyallpur Khalsa College marking 87th birth anniversary of Late Sardar Babir Singh, former Member Parliament,  former Cabinet Minister, Punjab and former President of College Governing Council, was held today in the college campus.  Mr. Tapan Bhanot Deputy Director Punjab Land Records Society was the Chief Guest on this momentous occasion. PG department of Computer Science and IT, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized an Alumni Tech-Talk Program with Mr. Madhu Sudan who completed his M.Sc. Computer Science from 2002-2004 in the college.  Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar is going to organise it's annual alumni meet on December 5, 2023. This information was given by the College Principal Dr Jaspal Singh in a press conference today. Talking to the media persons, Dr .Jaspal Singh informed that the alumni meet was dedicated to Sardar Balbir Singh, the Ex member Loksabha and Rajya Sabha and the former president of the College Governing Council  and also an alumnus of the institution on his birth anniversary. More than 100 students of the department attended a technical seminar on Challenges in Software Development organized by P.G. Department of Computer Science and IT in Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar under Alumni Tech-Talk Series. In the continuity of the series, the resource person Mr. Amit Kumar Maini, an alumnus of this department and Managing Director of a Noida based Software Development Company Essem Technologies, informed students about the career opportunities in software industry and provided insightful strategies for conquering challenges before software industry.
