The Department of Commerce of Lyallpur Khalsa College organized the annual sports festival

  The Department of Commerce and Business Administration of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar successfully organized its annual sports festival for the academic session 2025-26 under the auspices of the Commerce Association and Business Club. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of the students and presented a unique example of sportsmanship, teamwork and discipline. The event was organized under the able leadership of Principal Dr. Rachpal Singh Sandhu. The outline of the event was drawn by the conveners Prof. Amita Shaheed and Dr. Raminder Bhatia. Various competitive and entertaining games like Kho-Kho, Tug of War, Cricket, Fun and Fitness (Hurdle Race), Lemon Run, 100 Meter Run and Three Legged Race were organized in this sports festival. Prof. Kuldeep Sodhi appointed as Nodal Officer PMS

Professor Kuldeep Sodhi of the Post Graduate Punjabi Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, who has made special achievements in the field of education, research, culture and sports, took charge as Nodal Officer (PMS). College Principal Dr. Rachpal Singh Sandhu and teachers presented him with a bouquet of flowers and wished him well for carrying out the work of PMS in a more constructive manner. Seeing Prof. Sodhi's services towards the college, the College Governing Council and College Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu entrusted him with the important responsibility of PMS. Prof. Kuldeep Sodhi assured that he will discharge the important responsibility given to him with complete honesty and diligence along with his team. On the occasion of Republic Day, January 26, Assistant Professor of Postgraduate Geography Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar Dr. Pooja Rana was honoured for her distinguished services in the field of education. The honour was presented by the Hon’ble Water Resources Minister of Punjab Government, Shri Barinder Kumar Goyal during a district level function. Lyallpur Khalsa College NCC Cadets Selected for Republic Day Parade at Jalandhar

Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, has achieved yet another moment of pride as eleven NCC cadets of the college have been selected to participate in the upcoming Republic Day Parade, scheduled to be held at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium, Jalandhar. The parade will be graced by Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal as the Chief Guest.The selected cadets are Chetan Passi, Krishna, Nitin Kumar Singh, Abhishek, Lovepreet, Deepak Kumar, Lokender Kanwar, Ravi Kumar, Harsh Soni, Dheeraj Kumar, and Md. Khadeer Basha. Chetan Passi will lead the NCC contingent.   A religious function dedicated to the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the creator of the Khalsa Panth, was organized with great devotion and enthusiasm at the Gurdwara Sahib of the college at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, the premier educational institution of North India. The entire staff of the college and a large number of students attended the religious function. After the Bhog of Sehaj Path, Bhai Bharat Singh Ji of Jawaddi Taksal, Ludhiana, connected the sangat with Guru ji's ideology by doing kirtan on traditional string instruments.
