Lyallpur Khalsa College mourns the sudden passing of Baba Rajinder Singh Johal

Sardar Rajinder Singh Ji Johal, a committee member of premiere educational institution Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, left for heavenly abode recently. He not only served as a committee member but also remained a pillar of Doaba politics. In addition, he served as the Managing Director of Jalandhar Cooperative Bank and held many other important positions. Following his untimely demise all persons connected to him have expressed profound sorrow. In light of this, Sardarni Balbir Kaur Ji, President of the Governing Council of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, expressed her condolences and recalled that Sardar Rajinder Singh Johal Ji shared a long standing association with the college. College Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, along with the entire staff, paid homage to the departed soul by extending condolences and observing a two-minute silence to honour his sudden passing. Students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar have performed splendidly in Guru Nanak Dev University exams of M.A. Geography Semester-III. In a press release today, the Principal of the College Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu  informed that Parul bagged 1st positions by getting 8.20 SGPA out of 10, whereas Ipsa Joshi bagged 2nd position by getting 8.00 SGPA and Chandrika bagged 3rd position by getting 7.80 SGPA in the same class. Lyallpur Khalsa College students receive scholarship money from Jatt Sikh Council

Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, provides scholarships to needy and meritorious students, assists them to pursue their respective studies and also motivates various non-governmental social welfare organizations to provide scholarships to the meritorious students of the college. Under this, "The Jatt Sikh Council (Regd.)" provided scholarship money of Rs. 45 thousand to meritorious needy students. Chief guest of the event  President, Jatt Sikh Council, S.
