  In yet another proud achievement for Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, two students of the PG Department of Computer Science and IT have secured prestigious placements in Virtuosity Digital, a distinguished IT and Multimedia company known for its innovation and excellence in the digital sector.The selected students are Ms. Nikita, a student of M.Sc. Lyallpur Khalsa College is carving its own niche in fields of academics, sports and co-curricular activities. Recently, M.A. Political Science Semester-I students of the college have performed marvellously in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar exams. In a press release today, the Principal of the College Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu informed that Tanu bagged 3rd position by getting 8.00 SGPA out of 10 whereas Shreya Chauhan bagged 4th position by getting 7.80 SGPA and Hargun Gill bagged 5th position by getting 7.60 SGPA in the same class. The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar successfully organised an intra-departmental competition titled “Reel Deel” on the theme Campus Infrastructure. The event aimed to encourage students to creatively showcase the facilities, environment, and aesthetic appeal of the college campus through engaging short reels. Lyallpur Khalsa College is committed for its contribution towards social welfare and keeps organizing & participating in such activities. Recently, when Punjab Home Guards, Civil Defence & Training Jalandhar organized a Mock Drill, college N.S.S. unit and Disaster Risk Reduction & Mgt Club participated in the drill with full compliance. Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu in his message said that natural disasters can happen anytime and anywhere but proper training and drills can effectively minimize the damage. He said that these mock drills are more significant for border states like Punjab.
