Lyallpur Khalsa College Students bag University Merit Positions

Lyallpur Khalsa College is carving its own niche in fields of academics, sports and co-curricular activities. Recently, M.A. Political Science Semester-II students of the college have performed marvellously in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar exams. In a press release today, the Principal of the College Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu informed that Shreya Chauhan bagged 3rd position by getting 8.20 SGPA out of 10 whereas Tanu and Hargun Gill secured 4th positions jointly by getting 8.00 SGPA in the same class. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur and Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Dr. Anu Kumari Head P.G. Grand Slam Performance by Lyllapur Khalsa College Student

Nidhya Sharma and Aastha, students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, who secured 1st positions jointly in Semester-II in University exams of MA-Geography by getting 8.60 SGPA out of 10, Varsha Pal and Pragati bagged 2nd positions jointly by getting 8.40 SGPA, whereas Manpreet Kaur and Rani Secured 3rd and 4th position by getting 8.20 SGPA and 8.00 SGPA respectively in the same class. In a press release, the Principal of the College Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu gave this information adding that Lyallpur Khalsa College is the only college in Doaba region to offer MA Geography and is the first choice of the students because of its excellent teaching and impressive results in university exams. LYALLPUR KHALSA COLLEGE NCC UNIT INITIATED VIBRANT TREE PLANTATION DRIVE

  Demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and ecological preservation, the NCC unit of Lyallpur Khalsa College, in collaboration with the 2 Punjab NCC Battalion, initiated a massive tree plantation drive on the college campus. The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from NCC cadets. In the coming days, the cadets will plant a diverse variety of saplings across the campus grounds to promote a greener and healthier environment. The drive was spearheaded by the college's NCC unit alongside the 2 PB NCC Battalion, reinforcing the spirit of community service and environmental responsibility among the youth.   With immense patriotic fervor and high-spirited enthusiasm, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, celebrated India’s Independence Day today in a vibrant collaboration with the 2 Punjab NCC Battalion. The campus resonated with patriotic echoes as students, faculty members, and security personnel gathered to honour the nation's rich history and hard-earned freedom. The celebrations formally commenced with a synchronized, soul-stirring rendition of the National Anthem, evoking a deep sense of devotion and unity among the gathering.
