Recently, when Punjab Home Guards, Civil Defence & Training Jalandhar organized a Mock Drill, college N.S.S. unit and Disaster Risk Reduction & Mgt Club participated in the drill with full compliance. Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu in his message said that natural disasters can happen anytime and anywhere but proper training and drills can effectively minimize the damage. He said that these mock drills are more significant for border states like Punjab.   Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar performed excellently in Guru Nanak Dev University exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu informed that students Razia and Neetu bagged 4th  position jointly in the MA History-III Semester by getting 8.00 SGPA out of 10, whereas Harshpreet Kaur and Manpreet Kaur secured 5th  positions jointly by getting 7.80 SGPA. In this light, students of the college participated in Talent Carnival inter college competition at KMV Jalandhar and brought laurels to the college. With the objective of equipping students with essential skills required to excel in professional interviews, the Career Counseling and Placement Cell of Lyallpur Khalsa College organized a Mock Interview Session followed by a Group Discussion Session in regard to the Proposed Placement Drive 2026. The session was held on April 11, 2026, in the office of the Career Counseling and Placement Cell of the college.The session was conducted by Dr. Charanjit Singh, Convener of the Cell, along with Dr. Jyoti Vohra from the PG Department of Commerce and Business Management and Prof. Ritika from the Department of Economics, both active members of the Cell.
