N.S.S. unit of Lyallpur Khalsa College celebrated NSS Foundation Day in the college campus by organizing an awareness seminar on Nutrition and Diet. Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu congratulated the gathering on NSS foundation day and encouraged the volunteers to participate in social welfare activities and contribute to nation building. Tejveer Singh Minhas, a student of B.Sc. Non-Medical, Semester V, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, brought laurels to the institution through his commendable performance in the National Anveshika Experimental Skill Test (NAEST-2026) and the “Joy of Physics” programme held from 12–14 September 2026 at Shiksha Sopan Ashram, Kanpur.The programme was conducted under the guidance of renowned physicist and Padma Shri awardee Prof. H. C. Verma. After Screening test,  900 students were selected all around the Nation for prelims under junior and senior catagory Junior catagory 9th to 12thSenior category - UG and PGFor semifinal - 6 students were selected under senior catagory.Tejveer Singh Minhas is one among them, demonstrating his experimental skills, scientific aptitude and problem-solving abilities.   Ipsa Joshi student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, who secured 1st position in Semester-IV in University exams of MA-Geography by getting 8.60 CGPA out of 10, Parul bagged 2nd position by getting 8.35 CGPA, whereas Gurwinder Singh Secured 5th position by getting 7.80 CGPA respectively in the same class. Lyallpur Khalsa College, a leading institution of Northern India, observed World Ozone Day with an impressive array of activities designed to spread awareness about ozone depletion and its environmental consequences.
