Post Graduate Department of Geography, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized a one day workshop on Fundamentals of Remote sensing and GIS. Punjabi literary world suffered an irreparable loss lately with the passing away of Dr. Ranjit Singh Bajwa, former Prof. and Head of Department of Punjabi, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Scholarships worth rupees 1,00,000/- were awarded to the needy and deserving students of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar by S. Jaswant Singh Rai Memorial Public Charitable Trust. Speaking on the occasion, the College President Governing Council, Sardarni Balbir Kaur lauded the Trust for extending this financial support to students. Platinum Jubilee celebration is organised on 19-20 March 2026 at the completion of 75 years of the Postgraduate Punjabi Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar.
