Cadet Samridhi Kaushal, a student of B.A. 3rd Semester at Lyallpur Khalsa College, has been selected to participate in the Thal Sena Camp (TSC) to be held in New Delhi from September 2 onwards. Her selection was made at the Pre-Thal Sena Camp–2 conducted at NCC Academy, Rupnagar. The Thal Sena Camp is regarded as one of the most prestigious camps of the National Cadet Corps, focusing on discipline, leadership, field craft, weapon training, map reading and other aspects of military training. Due to road accidents, thalassemia and other medical conditions patients requiring blood have increased in the last decade.
