With the objective of equipping students with essential skills required to excel in professional interviews, the Career Counseling and Placement Cell of Lyallpur Khalsa College organized a Mock Interview Session followed by a Group Discussion Session in regard to the Proposed Placement Drive 2026. The session was held on April 11, 2026, in the office of the Career Counseling and Placement Cell of the college.The session was conducted by Dr. Charanjit Singh, Convener of the Cell, along with Dr. Jyoti Vohra from the PG Department of Commerce and Business Management and Prof. Ritika from the Department of Economics, both active members of the Cell. Priya of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has bagged 1st position in the University exams of Master of Vocation Web Technology & Multimedia-III Semester by getting 9.60 SGPA out of 10 whereas Vivek bagged 2nd position by getting 9.40 SGPA. Lyallpur Khalsa College Organizes a Special Lecture to Mark Ambedkar Jayanti.  A special lecture to commemorate the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution  was jointly hosted by the Punjabi Sahitya Sabha and N.S.S. units of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar, former Head of the Punjabi Department, was the keynote speaker. Sardar Rajinder Singh Ji Johal, a committee member of premiere educational institution Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, left for heavenly abode recently. He not only served as a committee member but also remained a pillar of Doaba politics. In addition, he served as the Managing Director of Jalandhar Cooperative Bank and held many other important positions. Following his untimely demise all persons connected to him have expressed profound sorrow.
