PG Department of Computer Science & IT Organizes Industrial Visit to Solitaire Infosys Pvt. Ltd., Mohali

The PG Department of Computer Science and IT, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, successfully organized an industrial visit and educational trip to Solitaire Infosys Pvt. Ltd., Mohali (Chandigarh), for the students of the department. Students enthusiastically participated in this visit, which aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry exposure. During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the latest technologies, software development practices, and real-time project handling. The experts at the company interacted with students and shared their professional experiences, motivating them to enhance their technical skills and prepare for future career opportunities. The department expressed heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the President of the Governing Council for his continuous support and encouragement in organizing such academic activities. Special thanks were extended to the Principal, Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, for his visionary leadership and guidance. The Head of the Department, Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand, appreciated the dedicated efforts Prof. Ravinder Kaur and Prof. Jasdeep Singh, for their excellent coordination and smooth conduct of this visit. Prof. Onkar and Prof. Tarandeep also accompanied the visit.Such initiatives play a vital role in enhancing students’ practical knowledge and preparing them for the dynamic IT industry.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਅਤੇ ਆਈਟੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸੋਲੀਟੇਅਰ ਇਨਫੋਸਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ (ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ) ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਦੌਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਦੌਰਾ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੌਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਵੀਨਤਮ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀਆਂ, ਸਾਫਟਵੇਅਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਭਿਆਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਲ-ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਹੈਂਡਲਿੰਗ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਸਮਝ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਹੂਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦਾ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਨੇ ' ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਲਈ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਡਾ. ਰਛਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੰਜੀਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਆਨੰਦ ਨੇ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜਸਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਓਂਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਤਰਨਦੀਪ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ।
