Post Graduate Department of Geography, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized a one day workshop on Fundamentals of Remote sensing and GIS. The resource person, Prof. Ripudaman Singh from Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, was welcomed by Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu and Dr. Pooja Rana HOD Geography with bouquet of flowers. This workshop was conducted to make students learn the basics of remote sensing technology and mapping in geographical information systems.
