PG Department of Computer Science & IT Organized “Entrepreneurial Spark and Internship Drive” at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar

The PG Department of Computer Science and IT of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, successfully organized an event titled “Entrepreneurial Spark and Internship Drive” for the final-year students of the departmentin collaboration with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). Renowned organizations like O7 Services, Jalandhar, and Coder Roots, Mohali, participated in this drive. This initiative aimed to enhance students’ entrepreneurial outlook and enrich them with industry exposure. The Principal of the College, Prof. Navdeep Kaur, congratulated and appreciated the department’s efforts in providing students with such platforms that connect academia with industry needs and enhance students professional skills. Head of the Department, Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand formally welcomed the companies representatives and motivated the students to explore innovative opportunities in the IT and entrepreneurial sectors. Representatives of different organizations conducted technical tests and interviews to assess the students’ skills and competencies. After a thorough evaluation, 14 students were shortlisted for the final round. The session concluded with a Vote of thanks by Dr. Geetanjali Moudgill, Dean Convener of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), who acknowledged the contributions of all faculty members, participating companies, and students. The event was successfully organized by Dr. Daljeet Kaur. On this occasion  Prof. Ratnakar Mann, Prof. Jaspreet Saini, Prof. Ravinder Kaur, and Prof. Kritika were also present.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਅਤੇ ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੌਂਸਲ (IIC) ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਅਖੀਰਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ 'ਐਂਟਰ ਨਿਊਰੀਅਲ ਸਪਾਰਕ ਐਂਡ ਇੰਟਰਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਡਰਾਈਵ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ । 07 ਸਰਵਿਸਿਜ਼, ਜਲੰਧਰ, ਅਤੇ ਕੋਡਰ ਰੂਟਸ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਡਰਾਈਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਦਮੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੀਕੋਣ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਸੀ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨਵਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਪਲੈਟਫਾਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਰੂਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੁਨਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੰਜੀਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਆਨੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਸਮੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਅਤੇ ਉੱਦਮੀ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਨਤਾਕਾਰੀ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 14 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਦੌਹ ਲਈ ਸਾਰਟਲਿਸਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।ਇਹ ਸਨ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੌਂਸਲ (IIC) ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਕਨਵੀਨਰ ਡਾ. ਗੀਤਾਂਜਲੀ ਮੌਦਗਿੱਲ ਦੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਮਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ, ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਡਾ. ਦਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰਤਨਾਕਰ ਮਾਨ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸੋਈ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਕ੍ਰਿਤਿਕਾ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
