Teaching and non-teaching staff of the Lyallpur Khalsa College has been granted benefits of the Seventh Pay Commission as per UGC and Punjab Government regulations. This information was given by the College Principal Dr. Suman Chopra who along with the staff members paid obeisance to the Almighty in the college Gurdwara for this achievement. Speaking on the occasion, she said that the college was committed to the well-being of its staff members, and giving salary according to the seventh pay commission was in continuity to this policy. NSS unit in collaboration with District Legal Authority Services Jalandhar organized a plantation drive under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam. Humans have exploited mother earth and now these plantation drives, no use of plastic and cautious use of natural resources are the simple ways to reverse the situation.
