Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, provides scholarships to needy and meritorious students, assists them to pursue their respective studies and also motivates various non-governmental social welfare organizations to provide scholarships to the meritorious students of the college. Under this, "The Jatt Sikh Council (Regd.)" provided scholarship money of Rs. 45 thousand to meritorious needy students. Chief guest of the event  President, Jatt Sikh Council, S. Scholarships worth rupees 1,00,000/- were awarded to the needy and deserving students of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar by S. Jaswant Singh Rai Memorial Public Charitable Trust. Speaking on the occasion, the College President Governing Council, Sardarni Balbir Kaur lauded the Trust for extending this financial support to students. Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu said that the Trust had been providing financial help to the students of the college for a number of years. He also reiterated the commitment of the college to affordable and quality education, adding that all possible efforts would be made to support meritorious and deserving students.
