Lyallpur Khalsa College Students Win University Merit Positions in MA-Music (Vocal) Semester-IV

Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar performed excellently in Guru Nanak Dev University exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu informed that students Ravleen Kaur bagged 1st  position in the MA Music (Vocal)-IV Semester by getting 9.70 CGPA out of 10, whereas Amarjit Singh secured 3rd   position by getting 9.57 CGPA, Gurbaksh Kaur secured 6th position by getting 9.27 CGPA, Neha and Shallu secured 7th   positions jointly by getting 9.21 CGPA, whereas Parmeet Singh secured 9th position by getting 9.12 CGPA. Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu also said that the College was committed to provide quality education to its students and it would ensure all possible help to the deserving and needy students. The President of the College Governing Council Mrs. Balbir Kaur congratulated the student and wished them success in life. Prof. Sukhdev Singh, Head, Department of Music and Prof. Kiran Amar were also present on this occasion.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਐਮ.ਏ. (ਮਿਊਜ਼ਿਕ ਵੋਕਲ) ਚੌਥਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਰਵਲੀਨ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 10 ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਵਿਚੋਂ 9.70 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ, ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 9,57 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ, ਗੁਰਬਖਸ਼ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 9.27 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਛੇਵਾਂ ਸਥਾਨ, ਨੇਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਲੂ ਨੇ 9.21 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ' ਸਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 9,12 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਨੌਵਾਂ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਰਛਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਥਾਨ ਜਾਂ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਣਗੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੁਖੀ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਕਿਰਨ ਅਮਰ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
