 Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar have performed splendidly in Guru Nanak Dev University exams of B.SC (Economics) Semester-II. In a press release today, the Principal of the College Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu informed that Prabhleen Kaur bagged 2nd  position by getting 8.24 CGPA out of 10. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur and Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu congratulated the student and wished her success in life. Dr. Simranjeet Singh Bains Head P.G. Department of Economics, Dr. Sarbjit Kaur, Prof. Reetika Sharma and Prof. Kiran Bala  were also present on this occasion.

ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਬੈਚੂਲਰ ਆਫ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਇਨ ਇਕਨਾਮਿਕਸ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੂਜਾ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਪ੍ਰਭਲੀਨ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 10 ਵਿਚੋਂ 8.24 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਪੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਰਛਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ, ਮੁਖੀ ਇਕਨਾਮਿਕਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਡਾ. ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰੀਤਿਕਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ, ਕਿਰਨ ਬਾਲਾ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
