Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar performed excellently in Guru Nanak Dev University exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu informed that students Vanshika bagged 1st position in B.A. Journalism Mass Communication Semester-I by getting 8.09 SGPA out of 10. Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu also said that the College was committed to provide quality education to its students and it would ensure all possible help to the deserving and needy students. The President of the College Governing Council Mrs. Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Dr. Harjit Singh Head Department of Mathematics, Prof. Ahuja Sandeep Incharge Journalism & Mass Communication, Prof. Monika and Prof. Anjali Bhardwaj were also present on this occasion.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਬੀ.ਏ. ਜਰਨਲਿਜਮ ਐਂਡ ਮਾਸ ਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਵੰਸ਼ਿਕਾ ਨੇ 10 ਵਿਚੋਂ 8.09 ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਰਸ਼ਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਰਸ਼ਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਇਸ ਉਪਲਬਧੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਹਰਾ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੁਖੀ ਗਣਿਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਅਹੂਜਾ ਸੰਦੀਪ, ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਜਰਨਲਿਜਮ ਐਂਡ ਮਾਸ ਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮੋਨਿਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਅੰਜਲੀ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
