Lyallpur Khalsa College Participated in Unity March

NSS Volunteers of Lyallpur Khalsa College Participated in Unity March organized by District Administration & My Bharat Office Jalandhar under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India. Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur appreciated the volunteers efforts and said that the contribution of Sardar Patel is immense in the unification of India post Independence. She informed that the Unity March programs organised all over India not only spread awareness about the patriot Sardar Patel but also motivate us to follow his steps.  She added that today the youngsters need to learn the lesson of unity and universal brotherhood from the life and actions of Sardar Patel. Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar performed in grand manner in the Inter-Zonal Youth Festival of Guru Nanak Dev University and won the first runner-up trophy in the music events. 42 colleges of the university participated in this youth festival held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Lyallpur Khalsa College participated in these competitions and secured a total of 63 marks. Lyallpur Khalsa College students visit Bhagat Puran Singh Pingalwara Manawala (Amritsar)

Department of Physiotherapy, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized an educational tour for students to visit Pingalwara at Manawala, Amritsar established by Bhagat Puran Singh. This educational tour was flagged off by the Principal of the college, Prof. Navdeep Kaur. She said that such efforts not only increase the knowledge of the students but also provide them with practical experience. The staff members of the department of Physiotherapy thanked the Director of Pingalwara, Dr. Inderjit Kaur and Administrator, Mr. Yogesh Kumar by presenting a memento and a bouquet of flowers for giving the students the opportunity to see and understand this special social institution from a close distance. Centre of Guru Granth Sahib Studies & NSS Unit in collaboration with Rotary Club Jalandhar Helping Hands Group organized declamation contest to commemorate the supreme martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji. Teaching Staff today at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar bid adieu to Dr. Gagandeep Kaur who attained superannuation after a long and meritorious service of 26 years in the Department of Zoology of the College as Professor, Head of the Department and Registrar. Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur appreciated the loyalty and commitment of Dr. Gagandeep Kaur towards the College, and presented her souvenirs and wished her happy and healthy retired life. Lyallpur Khalsa College Cadets Excel at Nationsl level in All India Vayu Sainik Camp, Bengaluru

Four cadets of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar brought laurels to the institution by performing exceptionally well at the All India Vayu Sainik Camp (AIVSC) held in Bengaluru. After qualifying at the State-Level Camp (Punjab Directorate), the cadets represented the Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh Directorate (PHHP & CHD Dte) at the national-level camp, where participants from 23 states competed. The selected cadets were CSUO Nitish Rana, CWO Charanpreet Bhardwaj, C/Cpl Parminder Singh, and C/Cpl Abhijeet Singh. CSUO Nitish Rana was appointed Senior of PHHP & CHD Directorate and excelled in Drill and Tent Pitching. CWO Charanpreet Bhardwaj performed outstandingly in Academics, Drone, and Drill.
