Function organized on Superannuation of Dr. Gagndeep Kaur at Lyallpur Khalsa College

Teaching Staff today at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar bid adieu to Dr. Gagandeep Kaur who attained superannuation after a long and meritorious service of 26 years in the Department of Zoology of the College as Professor, Head of the Department and Registrar. Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur appreciated the loyalty and commitment of Dr. Gagandeep Kaur towards the College, and presented her souvenirs and wished her happy and healthy retired life. On this occasion Prof. Hari Om Verma read the citation presented to Dr. Gagandeep Kaur. In her farewell speech, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur expressed her sense of belongingness with the institution and commitment to the society. On this occasion, she gave a detailed account of her association with the Department. Dr. Gagandeep Kaur and her husband were specially honored by all the teaching staff and Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur. The stage on the occasion was managed by the staff secretary Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu.

ਵਿੱਦਿਆ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੀ ਨਾਮਵਰ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨਵਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿਚ ਜੁਆਲੋਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਮੈਂਟ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਵਿਦਾਇਗੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਲਦਸਤੇ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ।ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨਵਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਡਾ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਨ ਕਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਡਾ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਜੁਆਲੋਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿਚ 26 ਸਾਲ ਬਤੌਰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ, ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਬੜੀ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਟਾਫ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ ਡਾ. ਰਛਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਕਰਦਿਆ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਡਾ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੜਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਕ ਚੰਗੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਵਧੀਆਂ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਵੀ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਲੋਂ ਡਾ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੱਤਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਹਰੀ ਓਮ ਵਰਮਾ ਵਲੋਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਗਿਆ।ਡਾ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਇਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਾਣ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੁਲਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਿਲੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਦੁਗਣੀ ਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਚੌਗਣੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਨ ਹਾਜ਼ਿਰ ਸਨ। ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇਰੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ।ਸਟੇਜ ਸੰਚਾਲਕ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਡਾ. ਰਛਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਬਾਖੂਬੀ ਨਿਭਾਈ।
