Lyallpur Khalsa College Students Visit Punjab Vidhan Sabha

P G Department of Political Science of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar organized an educational tour of students to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. This information was given by the college Principal Dr. Suman Chopra who briefed that participating 53 students of the department were welcomed by Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan and they got an opportunity to witness a live session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Lyallpur Khalsa College Organizes One Day Blood Donation Camp

NSS Unit & Red Ribbon Club of Lyallpur Khalsa College in collaboration with Blood Bank, Civil Hospital, Jalandhar, Social Sensitization Cell, NGO Dishadeep and Aristotle Society of Life Sciences organized ‘One Day Blood Donation Camp’ in the college campus. Principal Dr. Suman Chopra inaugurated the camp and stated that there are only 8 donors per thousand people in India which is very less. Due to road accidents, thalassemia and other medical conditions patients requiring blood have increased in the last decade. She added that blood donation is the supreme service to humanity and we must come forward to donate blood. We can save three lives with one unit of blood.
