  Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar performed excellently in Guru Nanak Dev University exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu informed that students Krishna bagged 2nd  position in the B. Design (Multimedia) Semester-IV by getting 9.64 SGPA out of 10, whereas Mankirat Kaur Sidhu secured 3rd  position by getting 9.55 SGPA. To commemorate the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized a sensitization-cum-training programme at Red Cross Bhawan, Jalandhar. NSS Unit & Red Ribbon Club of Lyallpur Khalsa College in collaboration with Blood Bank, S.G.L. Hospital, Jalandhar organized a One Day Blood Donation Camp in the college campus. Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu inaugurated the camp and motivated the participants to donate blood. He opined that despite India being the world's most populated country, very few donors come forward to donate blood. The donor's percentage is very less in comparison to the demand of blood.  He added that blood is required mostly for victims of road accidents, thalassemia patients and other medical surgeries.
