Lyallpur Khalsa College Students bag University Merit Positions

Lyallpur Khalsa College is carving its own niche in fields of academics, sports and co-curricular activities. Recently, M.A. Political Science Semester-I students of the college have performed marvellously in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar exams. In a press release today, the Principal of the College Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu informed that Tanu bagged 3rd position by getting 8.00 SGPA out of 10 whereas Shreya Chauhan bagged 4th position by getting 7.80 SGPA and Hargun Gill bagged 5th position by getting 7.60 SGPA in the same class. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur and Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Dr. Anu Kumari Head P.G. Department of Political Science, Dr. Ajitpal Singh, Prof. Sanjay Shad and Prof. Livpreet were also present on this occasion.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਐਮ.ਏ. ਪੋਲੀਟੀਕਲ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ : ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਨੂੰ ਨੇ 10 ਵਿਚੋਂ 8.00 ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਤੀਜਾ, ਧੂੰਆ ਚੌਹਾਨ ਨੇ 7.80 ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਚੌਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਹਰਗੁਨ ਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ 7.60 ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਰਛਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਦਕਾ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਅਨੂ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ, ਮੁਖੀ ਪੋਲੀਟੀਕਲ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਡਾ. ਅਜੀਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੰਜੋ ਸ਼ਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਲਿਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
