The Department of Commerce of Lyallpur Khalsa College organized the annual sports festival

 

The Department of Commerce and Business Administration of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar successfully organized its annual sports festival for the academic session 2025-26 under the auspices of the Commerce Association and Business Club. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of the students and presented a unique example of sportsmanship, teamwork and discipline. The event was organized under the able leadership of Principal Dr. Rachpal Singh Sandhu. The outline of the event was drawn by the conveners Prof. Amita Shaheed and Dr. Raminder Bhatia. Various competitive and entertaining games like Kho-Kho, Tug of War, Cricket, Fun and Fitness (Hurdle Race), Lemon Run, 100 Meter Run and Three Legged Race were organized in this sports festival. The students participated in this sports festival with full enthusiasm which made the event memorable. Prof. Ravneet Bains, Prof. Vivek Mahajan, Dr. Ubiqe Bedi, Dr. Navdeep Kumar, Prof. Manish Goel, Dr. Jyoti Vohra, Prof. Vineet Gupta, Prof. Kiratpreet, Prof. Harpreet, Prof. Navpreet, Prof. Bhawna and Prof. Meghna played a significant role in the success of the event. It was noteworthy that the Department of Physical Education made the event a success by providing sports equipment and necessary support. The sports event concluded with a message of  sportsmanship, physical fitness and promotion of holistic development of the students.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਐਂਡ ਬਿਜ਼ਨਸ ਐਡਮਿਨਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 2025-26 ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਖੇਡ ਮੇਲਾ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜ਼ਨਸ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਪੂਰਣ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਖੇਡ ਭਾਵਨਾ, ਟੀਮ ਵਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੀ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਰਛਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਦੀ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਅਮਿਤਾ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਮੁਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ ਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਭਾਟੀਆ ਕਨਵੀਨਰ ਦੀ ਸੁਯੋਗ ਰਹਿਨਮਾਈ ਅਧੀਨ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਰੂਪਰੇਖਾ ਉਲੀਕੀ ਗਈ। ਇਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿਧੀਵਧ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਨ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਖੋ ਖੋ, ਰੌਸਾਕੱਸੀ, ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ, ਫਨ ਐਂਡ ਫਿਟਨੈੱਸ (ਹਰਡਲ ਰੇਸ), ਨਿੰਬੂ ਦੌੜ, 100 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਟੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੌੜ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਜੋਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਛਾਪ ਛੱਡ ਗਿਆ। ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰਵਨੀਤ ਬੈਂਸ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਵਿਵੇਕ ਮਹਾਜਨ, ਡਾ. ਯੂਬੀਕ ਬੇਦੀ, ਡਾ. ਨਵਦੀਪ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਗੋਇਲ, ਡਾ. ਜੋੜੀ ਵੋਹਰਾ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਵਿਨੀਤ ਗੁਪਤਾ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਕੀਰਤਪ੍ਰੀਤ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਭਾਵਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮੇਘਨਾ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਸਰੀਰਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਖੇਡ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ। ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਇਵੈਂਟ 2075-76 ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਖੇਡ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤੀ, ਏਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
