Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Parkash Purab was celebrated with great devotion at Lyallpur Khalsa College

 A religious function dedicated to the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the creator of the Khalsa Panth, was organized with great devotion and enthusiasm at the Gurdwara Sahib of the college at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, the premier educational institution of North India. The entire staff of the college and a large number of students attended the religious function. After the Bhog of Sehaj Path, Bhai Bharat Singh Ji of Jawaddi Taksal, Ludhiana, connected the sangat with Guru ji's ideology by doing kirtan on traditional string instruments. He and his companions delighted the sangat by singing shabads related to the life and philosophy of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji specially narrating the creation of the Khalsa Panth and his contribution to Sikhism. College Governing Council President Sardarni Balbir Kaur, Vice President S. Deepinder Singh Purewal, Joint Secretary S. Jaspal Singh Waraich, Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu and S. Rashpal Singh Pal honored the Kirtani Jatha of Bhai Bharat Singh Ji Javadi Taksal with Siropas. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu respectfully told about the great personality of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and said that Guru Ji was not only a religious leader but also a skilled and high-class warrior and a great writer. He added that Guru Ji's composition Chandi Ki Vaar fills heart with enthusiasm. Guru ji gave his all for the country and the nation. He said that it is impossible to have a Guru, warrior, father, son and patriot like Sri Guru Gobind Singh. He was his own example in the world. He appealed that we should follow the path shown by Guru Ji. In this event, S. Rashpal Singh Pal, who is also known as the Rafi of Punjab, sang poetry in the glory of Guru Sahib in his melodious voice. At this time, all the staff, students and principals of all the educational institutions of Lyallpur Khalsa Management were also present. Dr. Harjinder Singh Sekhon played the role of stage manager during the ceremony. At the end, Guru ka langar was also served.

ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਮੌਰ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਜਕ ਤੇ ਸਰਬੰਸਦਾਨੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਬੜੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਾਜਰੀ ਭਰੀ। ਸਹਿਜ ਪਾਠ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਭਾਈ ਤਾਹਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਜਵੱਦੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬਵਾਇਤੀ ਤੰਤੀ ਸਾਜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਸਭਿੰਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਧੁਰ ਵਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਿਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ, ਖਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਤ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਾਇਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ, ਮੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ. ਦੀਪਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੂਰੇਵਾਲ, ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੜੈਚ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਰਸ਼ਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਅਤੇ ਸ. ਹਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਾਲ ਨੇ ਭਾਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਜਵੱਦੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਕੀਰਤਨੀ ਜਥੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰੋਪਾਓ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਰਸ਼ਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਦੱਸਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਇੱਕ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਆਗੂ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਪੁੰਨ ਤੇ ਉੱਚ ਕੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਸਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਚੰਡੀ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿਖ ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਨਵਤਾ ਦਾ ਮਾਰਗ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਕੌਮ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਰਬੰਸ ਵਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਰਗਾ ਗੁਰੂ, ਯੋਧਾ, ਪਿਤਾ, ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਅਸੰਭਵ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਆਪ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਾਏ ਮਾਰਗ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਕ ਸੱਚ ਦਾ ਨਾਅਰਾ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ. ਹਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਾਲ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਹਫੀ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਵੀ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਹੈ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੁਹਜ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਵਿ ਗਾਇਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ। ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਡਾ. ਹਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਖੋਂ ਨੇ ਬਾਖੂਬੀ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਅਖੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਾ ਲੰਗਰ ਅਟੁੱਟ ਵਰਤਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
