Students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar have performed splendidly in Guru Nanak Dev University exams of M.A. Geography Semester-IV. In a press release today, the Principal of the College Dr. Suman Chopra informed that Simranjeet Kaur bagged 1st positions by getting 8.70 CGPA out of 10, whereas Sonia bagged 2nd position by getting 8.55 CGPA, Rubinderpreet Kaur bagged 3rd position by getting 8.40 CGPA and Kanchan Srivastav bagged 4th position by getting 8.35 CGPA in the same class. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur and Principal Dr. Suman Chopra congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Dr. Pooja Rana Head P.G. Department of Geography and Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Prof.Kamalpreet, Prof.Kartik  were also present on this occasion.

ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਮ.ਏ. ਭੂਗੋਲ ਚੌਥਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 10 ਵਿਚੋਂ 8.70 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਸੋਨੀਆ ਨੇ 8.55 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੂਜਾ, ਰੁਬਿੰਦਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 8.40 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਚਨ ਸ੍ਰੀਵਾਸਤਵ 8.35 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਚੌਥਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਪੂਜਾ ਰਾਣਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਭੂਗੋਲ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਡਾ.ਰਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ,ਪ੍ਰੋ.ਕਮਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ.ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
