Navjot Kaur of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has bagged 2nd position in the University exams of Bachelor of Vocation (Software Development) Semester-V by getting 365 marks out of 400. This information was given in a press release by the Principal of the College Dr. Suman Chopra. Scholarships worth rupees 80,000/- were awarded to the needy and deserving students of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar by S. Jaswant Singh Rai Memorial Public Charitable Trust. A ten-day Folk Dance Bhangra training camp was organized from 10.07.2025 to 19.07.2025 with the aim of promoting Punjabi folk dances at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. More than 425 Bhangra lovers participated in this camp. Dr. Suman Chopra was the Chief Guest on the last day of this camp. She was welcomed by organizing committee with a bouquet. Principal Dr. Suman Chopra said that the motive of the camp was multi-dimensional focusing on promotion of cultural heritage, health and fitness and college’s social contribution. The new academic session of 2025-26 commenced at Lyallpur Khalsa College with a religious program in the college Gurudwara Sahib wherein recitation of Sri Sukhmani Sahib followed by the Kirtan performed by Bhai Bhupinder Singh (Rama Mandi Jalandhar Waale) was held.
