Students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar have performed splendidly in Guru Nanak Dev University exams of M.Sc. Mathematics Semester-I. In a press release today, the Principal of the College Dr. Suman Chopra informed that Jashanpreet Kaur bagged 4th positions by getting 7.80 SGPA out of 10 whereas Gurleen Kaur bagged 8th position by getting 7.00 SGPA, in the same class. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur and Principal Dr. Suman Chopra congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Dr. Harjit Singh Head P.G. Department of Mathematics, Dr. Dinkar Sharma, Dr. Palwinder Singh and. Dr. Nitika Chugh were also present on this occasion.

ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਐਮ.ਐਸਸੀ. ਮੈਥੇਮੈਟਿਕਸ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਜਸ਼ਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 10 ਵਿਚੋਂ 7.80 ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਚੌਥਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਲੀਨ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 7.00 ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਠਵਾਂ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੁਖੀ ਮੈਥੇਮੈਟਿਕਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਡਾ. ਦਿਨਕਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ. ਪਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਡਾ. ਨੀਤਿਕਾ ਚੁੱਘ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
