Lyallpur Khalsa College NSS Volunteers' Record Participation in 05 National Events in two weeks span

Lyallpur Khalsa College is committed for the overall development of its students. Keeping this view, college provides ample opportunities to its students to showcase their talents and explore their traits at national level camps. In two weeks, 01 Program Officer and 06 NSS volunteers of the college attended TOT Training at New Delhi, Parade Camp at New Delhi and 03 NICs at Jammu, Jaipur and Andhra Pradesh. Principal Dr. Suman Chopra congratulated the volunteers and advised them to be ambassadors of the college to spread the values and information learnt during these camps. She agreed that these events of national repute offer various platforms to students to explore their inner strengths, learn valuable information about other states and learn life skills. She informed that Chief Program Officer Prof. Satpal Singh was the only professor from GNDU affiliated colleges to be selected as Master Trainer in the TOT Program at New Delhi. Prof. Satpal Singh informed that these national level camps are funded by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India for cultural exchange and personality development of the volunteers. He added that volunteers Muskan and Anjali attended NIC at Jammu, Bharti was selected for NIC at Jaipur while Sakshi Sharma and Ekta represented Guru Nanak Dev University at National Integration Camp at Andhra Pradesh. Moreover, Gurvir Kaur was invited as Special Guest at Republic Day Parade Ceremony for her exceptional social work.Volunteers thanked the College Governing Council, Principal, State NSS Cell, Chandigarh and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India for providing such opportunities. 

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਕੋਣ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਕਾਲਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੜਚੋਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਵਰਨਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ 01 ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫਸਰ ਅਤੇ 06 ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਟੀ.ਓ.ਟੀ. ਸਿਖਲਾਈ, ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਰੋਡ ਕੈਂਪ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਮੂ, ਜੈਪੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਂਧਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਖੇ 03 ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਿੱਖੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਦੂਤ ਬਣਨ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਈ ਕਿ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੜਚੋਲ ਕਰਨ, ਦੂਜੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਹੁਨਰ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫਸਰ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਅਮ੍ਰਿੰਤਸਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਕਲੌਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਟੀ.ਓ.ਟੀ. ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੁਵਾ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ, ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਆਦਾਨ-ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਮੁਸਕਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਜਲੀ ਨੇ ਜੰਮੂ ਵਿਖੇ ਐਨ.ਆਈ.ਸੀ. ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ, ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਜੈਪੁਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਐਨ.ਆਈ.ਸੀ. ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਏਕਤਾ ਨੇ ਆਂਧਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਖੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਗੁਰਵੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੇਮਿਸਾਲ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਕਾਰਜ ਲਈ ਗਣਤੰਤਰ ਦਿਵਸ ਪਰੇਡ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲਜ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਸਟੇਟ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਸੈਲ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਯੁਵਾ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ, ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
