6 NCC cadets of Lyallpur Khalsa College will be part of Republic Day parade
Students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar are actively participating in academic, sports and cultural competitions as well as disciplined activities of NCC. NCC cadet Manish Kumar is participating in the national camp organized in New Delhi on the occasion of 76th Republic Day, while 6 cadets of the college are going to be a part of the parade to be held at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said in a press release that the college is proud of the achievements of its cadets. The main objective of NCC is to develop discipline, patriotism and leadership qualities in students. He said that cadets Rahul Sidhu, Inderveer Singh, Ansh, Sameer, Brij Lal and Tarun will be a part of the march past of the Republic Day celebrations in Jalandhar. They were selected in the camp going on since last month. NCC in-charge Dr. Karanbir Singh said that the NCC unit of the college is affiliated to 2 Punjab Battalion. Presently Commanding Officer Colonel Vinod Joshi is providing quality guidance to the NCC activities.
