Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar performed excellently in Guru Nanak Dev University exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Dr. Jaspal Singh informed that Mantripat Kaur, a student has bagged 14th position in B.Com-IV Semester by getting 546 marks out of 700, whereas Suryansh Sharma and Mandeep Kaur bagged 19th and 24th position by getting 543 and 541 marks respectively in the same class. This information was given in a press release by the Principal of the College Dr. Jaspal Singh. He also added that the college has a policy of providing all kinds of support to the meritorious students of the college who excel in academics sports and other co-curricular activities. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Dr. Rashpal Singh Head, Department of Commerce was also present on this occasion.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਚੌਥਾ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਮਨਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 700 ਵਿਚੋਂ 546 ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਚੌਦਵਾਂ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸੇ ਕਲਾਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸੂਰਿਆਂਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ 543 ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨੀਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 541 ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਚੋਵੀਵਾਂ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਲੋਂ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਫੀਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਭਾਰੀ ਰਿਆਇਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਰਛਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੁਖੀ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
