Punjab State Football League match was organized at Lyallpur Khalsa College

 

Punjab State Football League match was played at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. On this occasion, Sh. Anil Sehgal was the chief guest. The match was played between the teams of I.T.B.P. Ludhiana and Guru Football Club which was tie by 1-1. On the occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that a high level game was demonstrated by both the teams. He said that students should participate in sports along with studies, which leads to their physical development as well as mental development. Congratulating all the teams, he said that the college has always been making a valuable contribution to raise the level of sports and the best players have been provided all kinds of financial support to the students. On this occasion, Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar, Mr. Dhanwant Kumar, Mr. Tajinder Singh, Mr. Harvinder Singh, Mr. Balwinder Kumar, Mr. Jagdish Singh, Mr. Amrit Lal Saini from the Dept.of Phy.Edu. & Sports, teachers of the college, non-teaching staff members and a large number of students were present.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਲੀਗ ਦਾ ਮੈਚ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ 'ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨਿਲ ਸਹਿਗਲ ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ। ਇਹ ਮੈਚ ਆਈ.ਟੀ.ਬੀ.ਪੀ. ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜੋ 1-1 ਨਾਲ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਦੋਨਾਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਖੇਡ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਨਾਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਵਡਮੁੱਲਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਗੋਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੁੱਟਰ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਧਨਵੰਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਤਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜਗਦੀਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਲਾਲ ਸੈਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ, ਨਾਨ-ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
