Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has performed splendidly in Guru Nanak Dev University exams of Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA)-I Semester. In a press release today, the Principal of the College Dr. Jaspal Singh informed that Pakeeza bagged 1st position in the University exams of PGDCA-I Semester by getting 9.10 CGPA out of 10. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the student and wished her success in life. The student attributed her achievement to the teachers and the good learning environment of the college. Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand Head Department of Computer Science & IT and Prof. Navneet Kaur were also present on this occasion.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਗਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਡਿਪਲੋਮਾ ਇੰਨ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਐਪਲੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ (ਪੀ.ਜੀ.ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ.) ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਗਏ ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਪਕੀਜ਼ਾ ਨੇ 10 ਵਿਚੋਂ 9.10 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਥਾਨ ਜਾਂ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਣਗੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਇਸ ਉਪਲਬਧੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਹਰਾ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੰਜੀਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਆਨੰਦ, ਮੁਖੀ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਤੇ ਆਟੀ.ਟੀ. ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨਵਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
