The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Excellent Performance by Lyallpur Khalsa College Students


Students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar have performed splendidly in Guru Nanak Dev University exams of M.Sc. Chemistry Semester-III. In a press release today, the Principal, Dr. Jaspal Singh informed that Saloni Gupta and Sandeep Singh bagged 1st and 4th positions by getting 353 and 338 marks out of 400 respectively. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Dr. Navjot Kaur, Dr. Geetanjli Kaushal, Dr. Vikas Kumar, Dr. Harshveer Arora and Dr. Harjinder Kaur were also present on this occasion.


ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਐਮ.ਐਸਸੀ. ਕੈਮਿਸਟਰੀ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਸਲੋਨੀ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ 400 ਵਿਚੋਂ 353 ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 338 ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਚੌਥਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਨਵਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ, ਡਾ. ਗੀਤਾਂਜਲੀ ਕੌਸ਼ਲ, ਡਾ. ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਡਾ. ਹਰਸ਼ਵੀਰ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
