Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Lyallpur Khalsa College Hosts NCC Scholarship Distribution Ceremony to Honor Outstanding Cadets



National Cadet Corps of Lyallpur Khalsa College with the support of 2 PB NCC Battalion organised a Cadet Welfare Society scholarship distribution function on its campus to honour and support deserving cadets. Dr. Jaspal Singh, Principal Lyallpur Khalsa College welcomed NCC Group Commander Brig. Ajay Tewari, SM, Col. Vinod Joshi and other senior officials from the NCC organisation and congratulated them for encouraging and rewarding academic excellence among NCC cadets. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and a sense of pride as cadets received their scholarships, acknowledging their hard work, dedication, and commitment to both academic and NCC-related activities.During the event, Brig. Ajay Tewari, emphasized the role and importance of the NCC in building character and developing leadership skills among students. Dr. Jaspal Singh in his address commended the scholarship recipients for their achievements and encouraged them to continue excelling in their studies and NCC endeavours. Col. Vinod Joshi underlined the role of smart hard work to achieve greater heights in life. The scholarship distribution included various categories, such as academic merit, leadership, Thal Sena Camp, Republic and Independence Day and other activities within the NCC. The recipients were acknowledged for their exceptional contributions to their units and the overall growth of the NCC program at Lyallpur Khalsa College.The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Lt. Karanbir Singh, who expressed gratitude to all attendees and supporters for making the scholarship distribution function a memorable success.
