The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Lyallpur Khalsa College Students Win University Merit Positions in MA-Music (Vocal) Semester-III



 Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar performed excellently in Guru Nanak Dev University exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Dr. Jaspal Singh informed that Madhvi, a student has bagged 1st position in the MA Music (Vocal)-III Semester by getting 365 marks out of 400, whereas Preety secured 5th positions by getting 355 marks, Ritik Gill, Takshu Kailey and Jasjot Juneja bagged 6th position jointly by getting 354 marks in the same class. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh also said that the College was committed to provide quality education to its students and it would ensure all possible help to the deserving and needy students. The President of the College Governing Council Mrs. Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Prof. Sukhdev Singh, Head, Department of Music, Prof. Nidhi Sharma, Prof. Kiran Amar were also present on this occasion.
