The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar is committed to provide its students ample opportunities to represent at state and national level. It was no surprise when 05 NSS volunteers of Lyallpur Khalsa College were selected for an Inter-state Cultural Exchange Program organized and sponsored by Dept of Youth Services, Govt. of Punjab. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh congratulated the selected volunteers who gained first hand experience of the rich legacy of our country. He added that these programs not only increase the knowledge of participants but also bring the elements of unity and harmony in the civilians and resonate with theme of Ek Bharat Sreshta Bharat. Chief Program Officer Prof. Satpal Singh informed that these volunteers visited historical and cultural places of Odisha and presented Punjab's culture and legacy and learned about the heritage of Odissa. Volunteers Jaskaran Gadhra, Puneet, Honey Bhagat, Rishik and Kunal thanked Youth Services, Govt. of Punjab, President, College Governing Council, Principal and NSS Unit to provide such an opportunity
