Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee.  The students of Lyallpur Khalsa Jalandhar College excel in academics, sports and cultural pursuits in addition to partaking in extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS. On the 75th Republic Day, 13 students will participate in the march past in the regional event being hosted at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium in Jalandhar, while NCC cadets Abhishek Kumar and Gudiya Verma will represent the college on Kartavya Path in Delhi. In a press statement, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh stated that the college is pleased with the efforts and accomplishments of its students. Although there isn't a tableau of Punjab on Republic Day this year, six boys and girls from Lyallpur Khalsa College will march by on the day in Delhi. All students are selected after competing at the national level. Six students from Lyallpur Khalsa College are taking part in the Republic Day Parade.
