The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Lyallpur Khalsa College NSS volunteers attended One Week Advanced E-SDP workshop at NIT Jalandhar

 


Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar is committed for overall growth of its students and provides ample opportunities for their skill development. Recently, 03 NSS volunteers attended one week Advanced E-SDP workshop on Installation and Commissioning of Solar Plant for Net-Zero Energy Buildings sponsored by Ministry of MSME, Govt of India. Principal Dr Jaspal Singh congratulated the volunteers and encouraged them to think about their own start up projects in solar energy and help in reduction of energy consumption and pollution. NSS Chief Program Officer, Prof Satpal Singh informed that during this workshop, volunteers visited thermal units, solar plants and learnt to install, harness and market the renewable energy source. Volunteers Karandeep Singh, Manpreet Singh and Lovepreet Kaur thanked College Governing Council, Principal and NSS unit for providing such valuable opportunity.
