The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Gurupurab Celebrated in Lyallpur Khalsa College

 



The students and staff at Lyallpur Khalsa College paid their obeisance on the occasion of Sehaj Path held in the college Gurudwara today as a part of  Gurupurab celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. On the occasion, Ragi Jatha led by Bhai Varunjit Singh Jandu Singhe wale recited Kirtan, and was honoured with Siropas by President, Sardarni Balbir Kaur, Joint Secretary, S. Jaspal Singh Waraich and College Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh. In her message on this pious occasion, President of the College Governing Council, Sardarni Balbir Kaur, emphasized the universal nature of Guru Nanak Dev ji’s revolutionary teachings much to the benefit of humanity. Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the College Dr. Jaspal Singh said that the college is committed to inculcation of moral and spiritual values in students, in addition to imparting of education. He urged the students to seek guidance and moral strength from the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Present on the occasion were staff members and students.
