The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Lyallpur Khalsa College lifts University Weight Lifting and Badminton Championship




 Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar has won Guru Nanak Dev University inter college Weight Lifting and Badminton Championships. This information was given by the College Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh and he congratulated college Dean Sports Dr.  Simranjeet Singh Bains, Senior Coach of weight lifting S. Sarabjit Singh Kanda and Sub Coach Mr. Akash Virdhi, Badminton Coach S. Harjinder Singh Waraich, staff members and players on this achievement. He elaborated that the college secured eight Gold medals, one Silver medal and one Bronze medal out of town ten weight categories and mentioned that the institution  provided special facilities and scholarships to national and international level players. The President of College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur also congratulated the winners and assured them of all possible support.
