Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar.  Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar conducted Guru Nanak Dev University Inter-college Hockey championship at Burlton Park Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium, Jalandhar from 14th November to 16th November. Final match was played among DAV College, Jalandhar and Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar Arjuna awardee Shri Surinder Sodhi, who won Gold medal in Moscow Olympics in 1980 graced the function as Chief Guest on the final day of tournament.  Other prominent guest were Olympian Shri Rajinder Singh, Olympian Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Dr. Kanwar Mandeep Singh Dhillon (Director Sports at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar), Dr. Jaspal Singh (Principal, Lyallpur Khalsa College), Prof Kirpal Singh Matharu, Dr Manu Sood (HOD Sports, DAV College), Dr Simranjeet Singh Bains (Dean Sports, Lyallpur Khalsa College), Mr. Jagdev Singh (University Hockey Coach) and international Hockey player Mr. Ripudaman Kumar Singh. The championship trophy was won by DAV College, Jalandhar and Lyallpur Khalsa College secured the second position. Khalsa College, Kartarpur bagged the third position. Mr. Avtar Singh and Mr. Yudhveer Singh coached the DAV College team and Mr. Davinderpal served as the coach for the Lyallpur Khalsa College team.
