Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Cadet Kunal from Lyallpur Khalsa College attended Prestigious EBSB 2 Aerospace Camp

 


NCC Air Wing Cadet Kunal from Lyallpur Khalsa College participated in the prestigious EBSB 2 Aerospace Camp. The selection was made after seeing his dedication towards NCC activities and achievements in Pre Vayu Sainik Camp 1 (Inter Group Competition) and All India Vayu Sainik Camp. This exclusive camp, a joint venture between the NCC, DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization), and ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization), promises to offer an exceptional experience to the young cadet. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh congratulated the Cadet Kunal and remarked that his selection is a testament to his unwavering dedication and commitment to NCC training. Flying Officer Dr Manpreet Singh Lehal told that the EBSB 2 Aerospace camp provides a unique opportunity for NCC cadets to delve into the fascinating worlds of aerospace, space research, and defense technology. The camp also offered the unique opportunity to explore DRDO, the organization responsible for developing cutting-edge defense technologies. During this camp, cadets learnt about advanced weaponry, military systems, and strategic defense planning gaining a profound understanding of the nation's security efforts.
