Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Lyallpur Khalsa College  Kabaddi teams (Men and Women) created history by winning together for the first time the Inter College Championship held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. This information was given by the College Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh who congratulated the winning teams and their coach, Dean Sports Dr. S.S. Bains, Incharge Prof. Manvir Pal, Prof. Ajay Kumar and the entire team members and said that the college was proud of its players. Sardarni Balbir Kaur, President Governing Council also congratulated the winners, and expressed the hope that the college would continue to make such achievements in future as well.
