The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Interactive Seminar on Artificial Intelligence in Khalsa College

 


Artificial Intelligence Action : Real World Applications and Projects was the area of discussion in the technical seminar organized by PG Department of Computer Science & IT of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar  in which around over 150 students of Computer Science & IT Department participated. The resource person of the event Mr. Ansh Aneja, Managing Director of Ansh Infotech, Ludhiana informed the students of the real-world applications and projects within the realm of AI, its diverse classifications, merits and drawbacks and it significance from job perspective. In his welcome address, College Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh highlighted the growing significance of AI in today’s world and encouraged students to explore the field for better career opportunities. Vote of thanks for the programme was presented by the Department Head Prof Sanjeev Kumar Anand, whereas Dr. Daljit Kaur acted as the coordinator. The event was witnessed by the presence of senior faculty members of the department.
