Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. "Business Club" and "Commerce Association" bodies were formed by the Department of Commerce of Lyallpur Khalsa College



Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, a premier educational institution in North India, is always committed to the all-round development of its students along with high-level education. Under this idea, two different bodies 'Business Club' and 'Commerce Association' were formed by the post graduate department of commerce of the college for the better growth of the students. In this regard, Dr. Jaspal Singh, Principal of the college said that Lyallpur Khalsa College has a history of producing many eminent personalities and has never backed down from its commitment to the bright future of the students. He appreciated these student bodies and assured them to perform well. Speaking about this, the head of the department Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu said that these are bodies formed with the participation of Narol students in which only the students are the office bearers. He said that through these bodies, efforts are made to make the students more proficient in their fields by organizing various types of knowledge-enhancing programs. He said that today our students have made their mark on the world map which Lyallpur Khalsa College is always proud of. The office bearers of the business club include Shivani (M.Com-II) President, Gagandeep and Puneet (M.Com-II) Vice-Presidents, Shivans (BBA-II) Secretary, Prabhpreet Kaur (M.Com-II) and Karanveer Singh ( MTM-i) Joint Secretary, Technical Incharge, Cultural Secretary, Event Secretary and eleven executive members were appointed. Among the office-bearers of the Commerce Association students are Balpreet Kaur (B.Com-D) President, Sahajpreet Kaur (B.Com-D) Vice-President, Shureansh (B.Com-II) Secretary, Khushboo (B.Com-D) and Pulkit. In addition to the Joint Secretary, technical, cultural and event in-charges were also appointed. On this occasion, Prof. Amita Shaheed, Dr. Ubique Bedi, Prof. Ravneet Bains, Prof. Vivek Mahajan, Prof. Navdeep Kumar, Dr. Patwant Atwal and all the teachers were also present.
