The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. The PG Department of Computer Science and IT of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar celebrates Teachers’ Day.


A vibrant function was organized by the students of PG Department of Computer Science and Information Technology of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar to celebrate Teachers’ Day. During this jubilant celebration, students showcased their talents through a diverse array of activities in which  the educators engaged in the various games conducted during this event. Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur who was present as the Chief Guest for the day extended her heartfelt congratulations to the teachers for their exemplary dedication and unwavering commitment. Towards the end of the event, Head of the Department Prof Sanjeev Kumar Anand, delivered an inspiring speech while thanking the students for organizing such a joyful event for all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the department. On this occasion Prof Sandeep Bassi, Dr Sandeep Singh, Prof Mandeep Singh Bhatia, Dr Daljit Kaur and other faculty members of the department were also present. Deepanshi and Preet, students of BCA 5th Semester conducted the stage marvelously.
