The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. S. Harnarinder Singh Passes Away


Noted Academician and administrator S. Harnarinder Singh passed away last day. He acted as the Principal of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar from 1977 to 1992 and thereafter the Chairman of Punjab School Education Board. A multifaceted personality, he usefully contributed to the development of Lyallpur Khalsa College and P.S.Ed.B. He is survived by his son and his daughter Jasreen Kaur who is currently the Principal of Lyallpur Khalsa College. In her message, the president of College Governing College, Sardarni Balbir Kaur expressed the sense of grief and offered condolences to the bereaved family on the behalf of the college staff.
