The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Sushant Lalotra, a student has bagged 1st position in the MA Geography-IV Semester

 



Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar performed excellently in Guru Nanak Dev University exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Prof. Jasreen Kaur informed that Sushant Lalotra, a student has bagged 1st position in the MA Geography-IV Semester by getting 1440 marks out of 1600, whereas Gurbachan Dass secured 2nd positions by getting 1430 marks, Kamalpreet Kaur and Jasvir Kaur secured 3rd positions jointly by getting 1408 marks and Prabhleen Chhabra, Ramandeep and Aakarshit Bajaj of the same class bagged Distinction by getting 1384, 1373 and 1239 marks respectively. Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur also said that the College was committed to provide quality education to its students and it would ensure all possible help to the deserving and needy students. The President of the College Governing Council Mrs. Balbir Kaur congratulated the student and wished them success in life.
