The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Orientation Program for Computer Students in Lyallpur Khalsa College


 



An Orientation Program was held by the Department of Computer Science & IT of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar for the newly admitted students of the department. Welcoming the students, Principal Prof Jasreen Kaur congratulated them on their choice of Lyallpur Khalsa College for their studies. She motivated them to excel in the domain of Computer Science, as its branch AI was a rapidly emerging and relevant field in the modern world. On the occasion, the merit holders were honoured. The alumni of the department also shared their experience with the new students. The Head of Department Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand formally presented the Vote of Thanks. Present on the occasion were Registrar of the college Prof. Navdeep Kaur, Dean Admission Dr. Amritpal Singh as special guests, along with Prof. Mandeep Singh Bhatia, Prof. Manpreet Singh Lehal, Prof. Daljeet Kaur, Prof. Navneet Kaur and all the other faculty members were also present.
