Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Lyallpur Khalsa College Students Win University Merit Positions in MA-Music (Vocal)


Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar performed excellently in Guru Nanak Dev University exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Jasreen Kaur informed that Gurdeep Singh, a student has bagged 1st position in the MA Music (Vocal)-IV Semester by getting 1492 marks out of 1600, whereas Inder Preet Kaur secured 2nd positions by getting 1482 marks, Tajinder Jeet Singh secured 3rd positions by getting 1473 marks, Harsimranjit Kaur secured 6th positions by getting 1446 marks, Nikhil secured 7th position by getting 1437 marks and Karamvir Singh secured 10th position by getting 1407 marks and Ratan Kumar, Hitesh, Jaswinder Singh, Arohan Kumar, Sohan Lal, Ajay Kumar, Babita, Jaspreet Singh, Kasham, Inderjot Kaur, Satinder Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Bandhana Devi, Mamta, Karan Kumar and Harjit of the same class bagged Distinction by getting 1301, 1289, 1271, 1256 & 1230 marks respectively 1395, 1350, 1330, 1302, 1396, 1288, 1268, 1267, 1255, 1253, 1250, 1249, 1244, 1240, 1225 and 1224 marks. Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur also said that the College was committed to provide quality education to its students and it would ensure all possible help to the deserving and needy students. The President of the College Governing Council Mrs. Balbir Kaur congratulated the student and wished them success in life.
