The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Lyallpur Khalsa College Students Win University Merit Positions in MA-Political Science


 

Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar performed excellently in Guru Nanak Dev University exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Prof. Jasreen Kaur informed that Livpreet, a student has bagged 1st position in the MA Political Science Semester-IV by getting 1381 marks out of 1600, whereas Brahamsewak Singh secured 2nd positions by getting 1374 marks, Jaspreet Kaur secured 5th position by getting 1323 marks, Charanjit Kaur & Deepak Bains jointly secured 9th position by getting 1300 marks in the same class. Whereas Parinkal of the same class bagged distinction by getting 1291 marks, Sonia getting 1259 marks, Sanamdeep Singh getting 1250 marks, Manpreet Kaur getting 1244 marks, Kirna Rani getting 1233 marks, Sukhminder getting 1226 and Rajdeep Sandhu 1211 marks respectively. She also said that the College was committed to providing quality education to its students and it would ensure all possible help to the deserving and needy students.
