The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Harpreet Kaur of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has bagged 3rd position in the University exams of Bachelor of Physiotherapy Part-IV by getting 878 marks out of 1150, whereas Simranjit Kaur, Simranpreet Kaur, Manmeet kaur and Manjot Kaur bagged 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th positions by getting 865, 850, 846 and 842 marks respectively in the same class. This information was given in a press release by the Principal of the College Prof. Jasreen Kaur. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur and Dr. Raju Sharma Head of Department congratulated the students and wished them success in life.
