Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Gagandeep Kaur of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has bagged 3rd position in the University exams of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)-I Year



Gagandeep Kaur of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has bagged 3rd position in the University exams of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)-I Year by getting 829 marks out of 1100 whereas Tanpreet Kaur, Prerna Anand and Prabhsimran Kaur Kallah bagged 5th, 9th and 10th position by getting 812, 794 and 792 marks respectively in the same class. This information was given in a press release by the Principal of the College Prof. Jasreen Kaur. She added that the college has a policy of providing all kinds of support to the meritorious students of the college who excel in academics sports and other co-curricular activities. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Dr. Raju Sharma Head, Department of Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Dr. Jaswant Kaur and Dr. Priyank Sharda were also present on this occasion.
