The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Function organized on Superannuation of Prof. Manpreet Kaur at Lyallpur Khalsa College




Teaching Staff today at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar bid adieu to Prof. Manpreet Kaur who attained superannuation after a long and meritorious service of 35 years in the Department of Political Science of the College. Praising the loyalty and commitment of Prof. Manpreet Kaur to the College, Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur presented her souvenirs and wished her happy and healthy retired life. On this occasion a letter of commendation was also presented to Prof. Manpreet Kaur.

In her farewell speech, Prof. Manpreet Kaur expressed her sense of belongingness with the institution and commitment to the society. On this occasion she gave a detailed account of her association with the Department. Prof. Manpreet Kaur and her daughter were specially honored by all the teaching staff and Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur. The stage on the occasion was managed by the staff secretary Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu. Professor Arjanjit Singh and Prof Nirmal Singh Dhillon retired teachers of the department also graced the occasion.
